How iParq leverages the Nlets network to give clients real time information, for better operational efficiency.
As the old adage says, two heads (or more) are better than one. iParq believes strongly in utilizing partners that help us help our clients. Partnership allows iParq to have greater access to knowledge and tools that directly benefit our clients. In our new blog series, Partner Spotlight, we feature an iParq partner so you can see how and why iParq chooses to utilize these partners.
Who is Nlets?
Nlets - The International Justice & Public Safety Network, is a 501(c)3 who is funded and governed by the states. The Nlets network links together every law enforcement, justice and public safety agency for the express purpose of sharing and exchanging criminal justice information. Nlets provides unrivaled reliability based on a network built to endure threats without impacting performance.
Why iParq uses Nlets?
iParq partners with Nlets for access to accurate and real time registered owner information. It is a valuable tool used to further enable the violation enforcement process, thus equipping enforcement teams with the information needed to effectively and efficiently perform their duties. Nlets provides limited connectivity to partners supporting law enforcement and public safety across the United States.
These Strategic Partner Organizations (SPO) are working under the contract, and with the authority, of numerous enforcement agencies to perform certain functions of their enforcement efforts for them. This practice falls under the FBI CJIS Advisory Policy Board approved option given to agencies allowing them to outsource their law enforcement functions to private corporations (providing that the security addendum/proper procedures are followed.) These SPOs utilize the Nlets system to support red light, speed, toll and parking violation processing. Our partnership allows iParq to offer secure software to our clients.
Approach to Partnership
Partnership is the keystone of iParq’s business. We partner with clients to build software they need and want. We partner with companies that make our company as a whole stronger, which ultimately makes us a better partner for our clients.
